BIOGRAPHY

Hi I'm Layla, an artist with a passion for anything creative.

I run independent art workshops, hourly or daily and sell prints and originals of artworks.

I'm always creating and working on new projects. Hopefully you'll be interested in a style or idea. I have two main bodies of work currently, figurative/ portraiture studies and Pen and ink illustration. 

I love exploring traditional mediums in drawing, painting and print making. I have worked with nostalgia and storytelling imagery as well as honing my technical skills in portraiture.​

I have taught for the past 10 years, from independent arts and crafts workshops, life drawing tutoring, running painting courses for adult learners and more currently as a secondary school art teacher.
